City of Meridian Seeks Community Input to Guide Future Public Art Initiatives

MERIDIAN, ID – The City of Meridian and the Meridian Arts Commission are inviting residents to share their vision for the Meridian Art in Public Spaces Program (MAPS Program) by participating in a new online survey. This vital feedback will help shape the direction and development of public art installations throughout the city, building a lasting legacy that reflects Meridian's character and enhances our shared spaces.

"Public art is a powerful way to tell a story, foster connections, and add beauty to our everyday lives," said Cassandra Schiffler, Arts & Culture Coordinator for the City of Meridian. "This survey is an opportunity for everyone to tell us what kind of art they envision for Meridian. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us create art that truly resonates with our residents and makes our city even more special."

For those who prefer to give their feedback in person, the Meridian Arts Commission will also have a public engagement booth at the Meridian Fine Arts Festival on June 28 and 29 at Kleiner Park. Stop by to chat with us, learn more about public art, and share your ideas directly!

To share your input, please visit meridiancity.org/art-survey.

The deadline for survey responses is August 18, 2025.
