Community Art Party

The Community Art Party was created partnership with the Meridian Arts Commission to celebrate local art and artists. We share the variety of opportunities for the community to get involved in the arts. The event aims to nurture creativity of all kinds including visual, literary, theater, dance, and music arts. The event features hands-on activities, live performances, engaging art stations, a chalk art competition and informational booths by local art organizations.

Concerts on Broadway

The 2025 season of Meridian’s popular Concerts on Broadway series will feature three Saturday night concerts in Meridian City Hall’s outdoor plaza, located at 33 E. Broadway Avenue in downtown Meridian. Each of the concerts are free to attend and the headliners take the stage at 7:00 pm.

Connections Credit Union Kleiner Park Live

Meridian Parks and Recreation is pleased to announce the return of Connections Credit Union Kleiner Park Live. This free concert series features live local music every other Friday night in the Kleiner Park Bandshell from 7:00 - 9:00 pm.  Grab your lawn chair or blanket and join us in the beautiful Kleiner Park for an evening of dancing.  Listeners are welcome too.

Sparklight Movie Night 

Join Meridian Parks and Recreation for Sparklight Movie Nights this summer! Bring your family, friends, and neighbors for a fun, free evening under the stars. Every other Friday, we’ll inflate our giant outdoor movie screen in Settlers Park for a family-friendly film. Arrive early and check out the concession stand for delicious treats and movie snacks.

Thanks to local sponsors, this event is completely free! Don’t forget to bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and favorite movie companions to enjoy the fresh summer air with us. Movies begin at dusk, with the screen set up at 7:00 pm. There are plenty of activities in the park to enjoy before the movie starts.
