Meridian Parks and Recreation offers multiple divisions of Men's and Coed Softball leagues.

Registration Process and Fees


To register a team for a league; complete a current registration form, a current signed official roster with a minimum of 10 players, team fee, and player fees, prior to the registration deadline. Spots are on a first-come, first-serve basis and not guaranteed until payment is received in full. Paperwork and payment must be received by the deadline and still have available spots open. (If paying with two or more forms of payment types and/or multiple payees. Please call beforehand for instructions as payment processes have changed.)

 

Player fees

Player fees are non-transferable from player to player

  • Meridian Resident Player Fee - $10
  • Non- Meridian Resident Player Fee - $20

  • Registration Deadline: Wednesday 25th, 2025
  • Regular Season: The week of July 21st, 2025 (subject to change)

Ways to Register


To register first complete the current registration form, and current roster form. Once, paperwork is completed follow the below steps to complete the secure your teams spot in league. (If paying with two or more forms of payment types and/or multiple payees. Please call before hand for instructions as payment processes have changed.)

  • Phone-In - Call 208-888-3579 and pay over the phone with a credit card after emailing in both the completed  registration form and roster form to recreation@meridiancity.org (highly recommended and preferred)
  • Walk-In - Come in to our office during business hours at 33 E. Broadway Ave., Suite 206 with completed registration form and roster and pay in person with cash, check, or credit card. 
  • Mail-In - Mail your completed registration form and roster with payment to 33 E. Broadway Ave., Suite 206, Meridian, ID 83642. (Must be received by the deadline and have available spots in the league.)

Must be received by the deadline and still have available spots open. *Sponsorship payments must be in by the deadline with current completed registration form, current roster form, team fee, and player fees.

Team fees


Current fees as of 8/2024

  • Spring/Summer - $700 per team
  • Summer/Fall - $ per team

League fees include games, end of season tournament, game balls, umpire, and Idaho Softball registration. 

Upon registration, each team will be allowed 1.5 hours of free practice time per week if fields are available before the season starts.

Roster Forms

  • 2025 Roster form Fillable»
  • (Registration is accepted on a team basis only). An official roster must have a minimum of 10 players listed on the roster at time of registration. Teams are registered with the Idaho Softball Association.

A player must be 18 years of age or above to participate and be eligible for the Adult program.

Game play days


Games are played Monday - Friday at Discovery Park, Storey ParkBear Creek, and Tully Park.

  • Coed Leagues: Games are played on Monday’s, Wednesday’s, and Friday’s
  • Men’s Leagues: Games are played on Tuesday’s, Thursday’s, and Friday’s

Friday’s will be used for all leagues

League Formats


  • Spring/Summer League: 9 regular season games plus a double elimination tournament.  (Starts April - July)
  • Summer/Fall League: 8 regular season games plus a single elimination tournament.  (Starts after Spring/Summer League in July-September/October - Weather depending)

Free Agent


Don’t have a team? Please complete the Free Agent Form to be added to the list. This list can be used by team managers to pick up additional players  (This is not a guarantee that you will get pickup up.)
